 | | More capitalist pig-dog rants! Posted on Tuesday 26Oct04, at 1:27 am. | | |
And in today’s update, we have a new game fro- dude, what did you expect? This is a fucking webcomic dude, get it right. We have a comic for you, you read, you laugh, you tell your friends how fucking wonderful we are, and your friends give us cash money. This is how it is supposed to work. More and more however I am realizing it’s more going you read, you laugh, you take a nap. GO. GO SPREAD THE GOOD WORD.
I would like to talk to you about how big of a giant dick Bill O’Rielly is. Ok, fine, harass your workers as much as you want, have a field day with talking about how nice your new intern’s ass is. I would like to point this out though:
Bill thinks Al Franken is behind the whole thing.
Uziwha? Yeah, I know, it’s crazy right? A COMEDIAN, who makes JOKES, is going to ruin your entire career for…publicity, maybe? I don’t know. Then he goes on to talk about how Al is going to get what’s coming to him. That evil men…evil men like Al Franken…get what’s coming to him.
What brings a man to go from normal human to crazy deluded psychopath? Bill, find help.
Flu season came around, and Kite said to himself, he said “I’m not all that worried.” Right now, my father is locked up in his room with the flu. See, Mr. Bush? See what horribleness comes when you don’t allow people to get flu shots? They…have to lay around for a few days and drink plenty of fluids.
I’m still not too worried. If I get the flu I will at least have an excuse for being lazy and doing nothing. And people will bring me stuff! Oh man, I am going to ask him to go sneeze all over me next time I see him.
I would like to remind my readers that are over the age of 18 and live in America that voting is next week. In case all the ads on MTV aren’t enough. I know you saw them, since all responsible voters watch MTV as often as possible. If you don’t know how to vote, this is how it works: click the button/punch the hole/fill in the blank next to “Kerry/Edwards”. This is how it is done. A simple process, really.
Yeah uh…this whole rant really shows my political agenda, doesn’t it? I am such a die-hard conservative.

At this point, even Mickey Mouse is a better president than bush, as long as his vice president wasn't bush, or someone related to Bush in any way. Except enemies.
Oh right, comic...uh...neat stuff. Oh and looking through this stuff, giving some of the characters a hair color other than white (like perhaps, a black...or a grey....since we're talking greyscale here) would help a lot with character recognition. I found myself looking between the two characters and going 'wait a minute, which was who?'.
My two cents. | |

". . . giving some of the characters a hair color other than white . . . would help a lot with character recognition."
You make a valid point, dear reader-who-is-totally-not-within-my-circle-of-friends, but the fact is that, well, every single character introduced thus far (aside from Ciere, who you will notice actually does have black hair... all four panels that have her in it, yup) has hair more on the "white" end of the shade spectrum, the only debatable figure being Meria with her red hair. This was something I honestly didn't take into account when doing character design, but it works out for me in the end because, hey, less Photoshop work for me. Another reason I color in only stark black and white is because if I were to add the grays, it may as well just be in color (becuase I am an idiot and a perfectionist, I'll end up coloring everything then converting to grayscale for accuracy of said gray), and I simply refuse to go into the whole mess of screentone, computerized or not. Currently the only non-B/W comics I have planned would be the introductory "covers" for storylines, and any of the various Flash animations that I may or may not pull out.
So there you have it. If you don't agree with me, go draw your own fucking comic strip and leave me alone. | |
