Hrmn, it's mostly the fact that Sami and Meria are type A personalities that shove them into the limelight. I find we honestly end up working a little extra to get action out of Ciere and Kirin. We're big believers in sticking to character here and, well, Ciere's thing is stealth mostly, I'm not sure how good she would be in this situation. | |

I'd assume there's one for the dialouge, one for each character, one for the backround, and probably one for that sunlight-dappled effect in the last panel which I've just noticed is only leaves and no branches.
This is all probably off, I've notice people tend to use way more layers then I consider necessary. But I only draw things on paper and in Paint.
The thought occurs that probably the characters have a bazillion sublayers.
Maybe you're talking about something else entirely, but since I put such a mildly significant amount of effort into thinking about that, I don't care. | |
