The sky is not falling.
It’s not, you can check, it’s still up there. It’s actually rather pretty, I suggest you unglue yourself from CNN and your blog to go actually take a look. It reminds us all that we’re not going to die and laughing is not a horrible thing.
I had a rant ready, a nice little political rant, I’ve been priming myself by reading Stupid White Men and eating my all American beef burgers with a healthy dose of Heinz, but the internet did my job for me. I then took a step back, and said “whoa, hold on here people…it’s not THAT bad.”
Really, it’s not. We’re not all going to die. The future isn’t going to be a bleak Mad Max world where endless Bush offspring take on all comers to their one true god. It’s cool, it is. Relax, we’re going to be alright.
You heard it hear first, from Kite. It'll all be good, chill out.
That said, today’s comic REALLY impresses me with its visual style. I absolutely adore the job Chargon did with this one. To me, this is definitely the best one yet, and I love where the art is going. It’s going to get better and better, I can feel it. It feels like justice. It feels good
I had a run over of the scripting and coding behind Sold Out. Let me say this, right here. Everything you see here, all of it, is done by us. The coding, us. The art, us. The comedy, us. This is entirely an in-house project. Outside of running the comics I wrote past a good few friends of mine for checking on comedic value, it’s all Me Dom and Chargon.
It’s impressive what can happen when three people get together.
Then again, there are signs of this problem that are painfully obvious. We still have no characters page. We have yet to drum up advertisement. There are roughly 10 people who view our comic every day.
But you have to believe, this is still quite an amazing feet for all involved. We have never ran something before on this scale, and so far…I’m pleased. I look at today’s comic as a sign of better times for this comic. I look at the results of yesterday’s election, and say maybe things are going to alright in America. The future is bright, you heard it here!

| | Goggles? Posted on Thursday 4Nov04, at 1:48 am. by Comic | |
Tristain has goggles...or a visor of some sort. This pleases me, as I wear goggles ON a visor. I'll have to take a picture sometime.
I am really excited at how well things are looking now, it's really going great, and the color....it helps SO much....it's not even funny.

Appearently, the cast page actually IS up. I thought about checking, but went ahead with the idea that no way is it up, because Dom spent the whole day...being an ass pirate, who knows what Dom does.
Good work, fellows! | |

Kite, you make me feel all optimistic inside. That said, we now have upgraded from NO character pages to ONE character page.

Umn...
...today's comic was lost in the crash...
Or if Chargon wants to tell you what really happened, I'll let him tell you, but one thing remains true:
IT WAS ALL MICROSOFT'S FAULT!
