 | | Mini-arcs and fishes. Posted on Thursday 16Dec04, at 3:15 am. | | |
Due to outright laziness, I have not replaced my copy of word with a fresh copy of Open Office yet. This means that I am writing this rant, again, from notepad. Did I use wordpad last time? I know not. Again, pretend there are red squiggles in place about once every third word, and that might help you get through the following.
The following few (and I do mean few) comics are to be considered a mini-arc of the general arc, intended to develop, shall we say...character. Yes, developement of character. I should really coin that phrase. Anyway, we're going to focus on the relationship between Tristain and Cierre. Good times all around.
Though I have fond memories, and indeed have talked with my friends quite often about it, it has come to light to me now that Seinfeld is indeed the funniest show ever. I was watching it on TBS earlier today and could not stop laughing. It was like I was dieing, and not in a bad way. It was cathartic.
I cannot begin to explain to you how much Insaniquarium I have been playing over the last two days. I can tell you, however, that it was a lot, and most of my awake time was spent on aquiring shells to buy non-existant pets I do not need.
I don't understand my own obsession. They are little fish that swim around and do a whole lot of coin/shells pooping. I gain nothing from doing this. But then, MMOs are popular, and parallels can be drawn between fish that poop coins and monsters that poop coins under force.
I love the screensaver that comes with the game. You buy fish, they float around your screensaver, and the more fish you have the more likely they will poop coins for you and the more shells you have. Brilliant! The only real problem with this game is, sometimes when you close it, it throws IE open and tells you about how cool their other products are. Fuck you, I don't want bookworm, just go away. I only want to feed fish, not...well, what is bookworm? Fuck it, I don't care, I don't want any of your pervasive bullshit programs.
I grow tired of this ranting. Jester, bring me my Snake Hunter!

She is going to write about this in her deadjournal, for sure.
Or perhaps she will go to hot topic and buy a shirt that says 'boys don't like me because I'm better than them...muahahaha' in red scribbly letters on black. | |
