Less of a rant, more of a ramble.

What? We don't update once every four months now? I thought that was our update schedule. Oh and, since we STILL don't have the link up yet, our forums are easily found here. I know, it's really mostly useless, but it is there. You can also still comment on any comic down below with our handy dandy comic comment leaver...thing! I know it is brilliant!

The biggest change between my last rant and this one is most likely the fact that the seasons changed. It's really pretty outside, and I love being out there...except the pollen is killing me in ways I don't like being killed. Ok, I don't really like most of the ways you can be killed, but death by pollen is certainly up there.

There is also a new pope wandering around out there. He's a Jewish Hitler Scout Pope who looks remarkably like The Emperor from Star Wars. No, I don't get any bad vibes from this guy at all. I was cheering for the black pope. I mostly wanted to hear all the southern cathloics go up in arms against the taint against their church. Such a shame, I was looking forward to it.

In news related to me, I watched Batman: The Movie today. The one with Adam West. It is...a work of art. Truly. It is also a valuable learning device. It appears that apple sauce and eggs means the U.N. Who knew? It's truly a must see for anyone who can appreciate the rediculous.

Sold Out is currently looking to advertise somewhere. We're just not sure where yet. I sent several emails to Dave over at Bob and George about advertising, but I haven't gotten word back from him. If any of our readers have any ideas, be sure to email me. If you know Dave himself...send him my way. I want to talk to him about what actually makes a plotline that is worth bragging about. I think he could really stand to take lessons from Batman: The Movie.

Gaming seems to be more of a fascination to me lately than a hobby. Mostly the hooplah around it. I've been trying to decide between a PSP and a DS. The DS sounds like it has far wider possibilities, but the PSP has better graphics and better processing...DS is very well made, while the PSP is shoddy and flimsy...I suppose what really got me is the fact that I can pick up a DS off a friend of mine for $100.

Don't get me wrong, I love my special edition retro SP, but it has no real games on it. I'm still keeping it though...because it's so damned pretty.

I accidently picked up a 24 pack of 8 oz Dr Peppers at WalMart the other day. I would like to file a complaint. I do not know whose thirst 8 ounces quenches, but certainly not mine. They are kind of cute though. Sort of like little babies. Then you pop their heads open and drink out their delicious insides.

...I have said enough.

Creepily enough

Perhaps the aspect of all of SOC so far that comments most on the human condition is that Livejournal still exists in the year A.D. Nine Frillion. And it looks exactly like it does now. Spacejournal.

I'm depressed already.

By the way, on the PSP:

You know, I recently got to check out a PSP semi-first hand. The guy diagonal to me on the plane from Mexico City to JFK was playing some sort of flashy fancy colourful tetris-like game on it.

What struck me most was its similarity to something else you might recall. In fact, for several minutes I actually was sure that's what it was, until I noticed the PSP logo on the bottom.

Ladies and gentlemen, Sony, one of the great electronics corporations of the world, based in Japan, filled with bright young men and women, have done the incredible.

They have, finally, in the year of our lord 2005, come up with perfectly state of the art technology-- from 1996.

That's right. As near as I can tell, this thing is nothing less-- and I must emphasise how EXACTLY indistinguishable it is-- from the Game Gear.

If they ever release a Sonic game for it, it'll be so uncanny that that'll be the point when I suspect they're just hunting down used Game Gears, stamping the PSP logo on them, and leaving the rest to their Marketing department.

God bless you, Sony.

Huh, you thought so too?

...I thought I was the only one who thought it looked like a game gear.

Sorry guys.
