Hello, e-zone! Welcome from the land beyond beyond.
Alright, that was retarded, let's try again.
Today's comic might not be obvious on first look, which is why I liked it. The gag took a minute to really form in my head when I saw it, DESPITE having been the one who wrote it. As Kyle would say, today's comic is very, very me.
Let me talk to you for a little bit about the state of the comic, as we speak.
Let's start with traffic. Last comic got a good hand full of comments posted to it, mostly positive. We also got a piece of fan art. We also got several new forum goers, as well as some decent traffic on our forum.
This all comes down to the following: Bob and George has COMPLETELY changed this comic. How much? Let's look at the numbers.

Do you notice where the change takes place? If you guessed the first of June, you win a cookie! Not only that, but the direct link on the main site Dave gave us generated 2631 hits. 170 of those people returned the following day.
To an upstart website like ours that so far has just been about trying to get the word out through friends telling friends, these numbers are quite amazing. All that for $20. If you have a website you are in need of promoting, I can definitely suggest Bob and George.
Can I stop cupping Dave's balls now and go on with what else I have to say? Cool.
We also have an RSS thread. What is an RSS thread, you ask? Why, it's a little piece of XML that allows automatic notification of an update. I understand in firefox, you click the little dealie at the bottom right of the website in order to set this up.
What's FAR cooler is however that you can hook this all up to your live journal! That's right, if you're one of the frillion people who have a livejournal, you too can be reminded every singlet time Sold Out updates by adding us to your friends list. Just go to http://www.livejournal.com/users/soldoutcomic/ to sign up. Click the add hyperlink, and you're done! An AUTOMATIC reminder of when it's time for more hilarity with your buddies over at Sold Out Comic! (Plus, a greater return margin of users for us, as well as a little free publicity via your journal *cough*.)
We're also hard at work with a vital redesign to the structure of the website. The forums are also going to get a minor overhaul as well to be more concurrent with the design of the website it is an offshoot of. Don't expect this sort of shit tomorrow, however. Knowing us, I'd say about two weeks or so.
