Jesus Christ, people.

When the title bar reads "Updates Tuesdays and Thursdays," that does not mean "Updates at the stroke of fucking Midnight," despite our attempts to do so. Some of you, in spite of all common convention, are unable to grasp this concept. In short, to the people who got irritated over not having their precious new Sold Out up before they went to sleep: fuck you, you impatient fucks. It's my comic and I'll update it whenever the hell I want to.

It updates! Dear lord, it updates!

Oh, YOUR webcomic, huh? Yes, Kyle, YOUR webcomic is allowed to update whenever the fuck it pleases you, huh?

I like to call these latest string of comics “The lazy comics”. Lots of text, big black box. Dramatic, yes. Pretty, sure. Still lazy.

As some of you may know, my precious laptop has fallen ill. I do not know what foul wizardry caused this. I can only believe that it is a curse from an evil wizard who has been watching me since I was a baby, and wishes to strike me down before I grow too powerful.

That, or there is a loose connection to my hard drive. So hard to tell these days.

I'd talk about the goings on in the UK – I'll leave that to forum discussion though. I like to talk of pleasantries here. Either that, or I digress towards some form of madness that I look at later and go “what the fuck was THAT all about?”

I will however talk about that new Batman movie. Batman Begins is pretty good, especially for a super hero movie. It has a very, very cool feel to it, and lots of things will happen that will make you go “oooh”. But then, I had some problems with it.

1)Batman is not ninja
2)Batman is not angst boy
3)Batman does not cavort in small pools with large jublied women.
4)Come on, Open Office, jublied is so a word.
5)I know it's more dramatic that way, but could you just for once clue us in a little? Your movie made my brain hurt in places. Not that it was difficult to follow, just that you made some leaps for no reason.

That's about it, really. I really dug their take on Batman, but that was just what it was. A take on Batman. This does not feel like the Batman we all grew to love. Despite that it's still fucking cool, and I suggest you go and see it.

I hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July. For those of you outside of the US (and I now know that you exist, thanks to my new server's tracker which IS WATCHING ALL OF YOU), I hope your Monday didn't suck all that badly.

My friends brought hundreds of dollars worth of fireworks to the shindig. It was pretty amazing. Here's the weird thing: I felt a little bit of that good old American bride over it. Often times I dismiss patriotism as bullshit. I think my country is great, don't get me wrong, but often I feel like it's just some place I was very lucky to be born in to.

The fact that we're able to squander away our time dicking about with colored fire and not having to worry about other things though – that says something, doesn't it? Does it say something about the strength of our union? I like to think so.

Or you know...maybe it was the gigantic plume of smoke that can only be produced by 3 crates worth of fireworks, I don't know.

I've also picked up Stephen King's The Dark Tower: Song of Susannah. After reading Wolves of the Callah and being extremely disapointed I decided to wait for this one to come to paperback. So far it's pretty cool, but I'm only reminded yet again that Stephen King is a creepy old slightly racist highly perverted man.

I don't think making ANOTHER list in my rant would serve my rant well, so I'll say a few things instead of the dramatics that only enumeration can provide. Do you have to describe Susannah's breasts? Do you have to talk so often about how all these girls are walking around with their mid drift and bra strap showing? Do the Chinese people have to be referred to by their slanted eyes and their bird-like language? Does Susannah's other personality really have to sound like some sort of Klan's depiction of what a black person sounds like?

You get the idea. Good book so far, but damn Steve, you're creeping me out here.

I feel sufficiently ranted, how about you? Well, go ahead, go start some forum topic about the things I said now. I know you want to.

Oh, before I forget

I'd also like to mention that is having a series of free concerts in Atlanta over the summer. Some pretty awesome bands are going to be there. I believe Cake is this Saturday. I will so be there.

WAHAHA!

Hi, I'm yet another BnG linkite (what? That is a word, according to the Dictionary of Me), and I'd like to say that this latest comic is arguably the funniest yet. The look on Tristain's face just says "And yours truly believes that you shutting the hell up would also be a good course of action. I'll get off my ass when I feel like it you damn bucket of bolts."
Keep the funny coming, guys. You're on a roll.
