These updates seem to be coming in at random times lately. I get back from my morning meeting with Dr. Dozier, and bam, there’s a new comic. Good thing there’s that wonderful RSS feed to remind you when we’ve updated, isn’t it? Today’s update is actually rather surprising and rather dramatic…very cool. I also like Brian’s collar, though I know not why.
I hope your weekend was entertaining. Despite the rain, mine was pretty sweet. In fact, the rain might have only made it more cool. Just driving around and seeing what was flooded. The Ford dealership that told me two weeks ago that leasing a used car would cost me my first born son is now flooded. I consider it a holy wrath. That’s what they get for denying me long term low payment scheduling.
I saw Fantastic Four this weekend. The title is a bit of a misnomer. Oh, there are definitively four of them, it’s that other part I question. The plot seems to move at break neck speeds with no real concern over whether or not this is plausible AT ALL. Many, many, many things feel forced in this movie and each character is so severe in personality it’s brutal.
I guess though, that’s how comics were back then, weren’t they? Don’t question why dude over here has a giant space station and will let these guys on to test solar winds at a drop of a hat. These aren’t things people really thought about in their comics back then. That would actually be cool if the movie didn’t TRY to be modern in its approach to superheroes. Maybe if they had kept some old school style to their little shindig it might have felt a little better.
Hollywood, please stop disappointing me.
My laptop came back from those wonderful people at HP. Seems like there was a problem with the hard drive. They just skimmed the old one out, slapped in a new one, and sent me about my business. Poor laptop never saw it coming. There’s a lot of stuff I miss, most importantly I miss my music. Most of it I had on actual CD (you know, the ones you buy from the store), and some of it I can nab back off people who nabbed it off me on the Auburn network, but there’s still going to be a good few gigs of music that are just going to be gone.
It’s not really the files or games that you miss when you wipe your hard drive though, it’s the little things. Pictures people sent. Half-written stories. Stuff like that. I mean, you can always re-download files, MEMORIES are something entirely different. Once you forget about something, it’s gone. I’m the type of guy who keeps a lot of those little reminders stored away in the most inner recesses of his laptop. Mostly on my desktop, forget inner recesses.
Despite our advertising with Blank Label, it seems as if we’re STILL getting more new people from Bob and George. I definitely have to go advertise with them again, it seems canceling with them was a mistake.
Well, it’s 11 am, sounds like a great time for a nap. Peace out.

I had my own hard drive wiped a couple months ago. It would have been nice if my folks had bothered to TELL ME about it. I had a couple half written stories of my own that I hadn't backed up in forever, and all of a sudden...POOF! Just gone. I was so pissed.

I wish I had a nifty little company to replace my laptop harddrive, but Noooo they had to go out of business. Darn you internetishop.com! DARRRN YOU!
A replacement is like, 200 dollars :/
