I have to write this shit again? Blah.

Holy fuck. You better believe it, we're back from the dead! Well, kind of. See, our artist does not actually have the laptop computron that he needs. Instead, he has something that is the work of some minor devil that he has been allowed to install photoshop and a decent scanner on. So basically, expect updates from now on, but if we miss one please understand it was not our intention to leave you all hanging.

Christ, what to talk about? The news would have you believe the ONLY thing that has happened over the last month was the storm that rocked the shit out of New Orleans. More importantly, OMG GAS PRICES WTF! But, who cares about that.

We're still working out the subcomics, for instance Kite Theatre is up and running, though a little lackluster – we have to put some finishing touches on the design and whatnot. Dewan “Comic” Haque is also putting together a comic related to The Book of Jeff that looks like it's going to be rather fascinating.

We Love Katamari is pretty damn fantastic. Though, like its previous incarnation, it's rather short and you wish there was something more to it. There are some amazing moments in this game however. Such as katamari racing, and pushing a giant ball of FIRE. I played that particular stage at least eight times.

Other cool things in that game include rolling up fireflies as the stage around you gets slowly brighter as you collect more, and rolling up your very own snowman. King takes a front seat in this game as well, being rather comical and having cut scenes between balls based around him and various scenes from him growing up and whatnot. It's hard not to smile as you play this game, it's so...great.

There is also the ever amazing Advanced Wars series, namely the DS port. It's rather amazing really. Just when you're tired of one mode you can slip into another. One that feels REALLY odd to play but is actually rather fun is the real time mode. More games need small pointless alternatives like that.

Oh, Hitchiker's Guide finally made DVD. I highly suggest it. The deleted scenes and commentary are both pretty cool. You get a lot of great Mos Def stories, and everyone loves Mos Def don't they?

Is it just me, or is there a string of really shitty movies lately? Outside of Four Brothers I can't really remember another really good movie I've seen lately, and I see roughly EVERYTHING that comes out. It's all one big pile of shit. Stop remaking TV shows and old movies. I also do not want old TV shows on DVD, stop asking. That's what TV Land is for.

Lunar comes out Wednesday for the DS. Expect a nice long rant on that. Please stop telling me about your PSP. I wish you and your PSP the best of luck, but I have to draw a line somewhere. I am in love with my portable goodness that is the DS. I am with my DS more than I am with any single human being. If I got a PSP now, I fear I might stop actually seeing humans. Preferring the company of little glowy screens. This is not the future I would wish for, not at all.

Please, partake in our comicy goodness, and tell your friends that Sold Out is back. We've dropped a little in readership since we've been down for a little while but I'm sure with a little work we'll be better than ever.

YAY!

It's Advance Wars, not Advanced. Just FYI.

So you say it's Advance Wars huh?

And here I just thought it was a lame attempt of Nintendo's to take advantage of the GBA name and they just stuck to it.

That's what I get for ramming my stylus into the screen whenever the intro screen pops up. Read bad, death good!

Awesome
