Being the official wordsmith for a comic is fun when you’re known by all people who have seen anything you’ve written as “The guy who can’t type his way out of a basket” is rather interesting.
Things go as they go here. Still no word on when the hell we’ll get our shit together on those last two pages. We…kind of sort of fixed the archives so it’s seamless with the rest of the design however. I’m not sure if Dom fixed it or not, had some broken link issues or something, I don’t know.
Supposedly, our artist changed pen styles. He seems rather happy about this. Yet again, I say, I don’t notice this shit.
On another entirely unrelated note but entirely related to today’s comic, this may be the first one that actually gave me a warm pleasant feeling that wasn’t “Yay, my words on paper!” Rather, I feel we’re hitting a nice little sync here, and stuff is flowing as I wanted it to. And, jokes. Funny jokes. Those always help, I find.
Debates between the two of us have come to an understanding now. This isn’t just some comic that’s a joke on internet culture. No sir, this is a comic. We hope to be doing this for a while. Expect things like actual character development that keep our characters from staying stagnant 2d models of every single other character to ever exist. Still…the aim is mockery by emulation.
For instance, today you meet yet another new character. Say hi to Ciere. She’s our resident goth! And, you have to have SOMEONE in the cast that is there for reasons no one really understands. The reasoning for this is, later, you can say that she’s going to have some crazy background, and we can say THIS WAS THE PLAN ALL ALONG AREN’T WE SO GREAT AT PLOT?
I’m looking directly at you, Dave from Bob and George. Right…at…you.
So, that’s it. We updated. When does this start making money again? | |
