Ah fuck man. My ears are still ringing.

In today's update, we have a brand new comic, one in fact questioning the existence of Ciere's soul. Really, it's hard to see Ciere and Meria getting along together. They are such different people, and Meria is rather sure of herself under most circumstances, and rather sure in her atheism.

I suppose I can rather understand Meria's position. She worries that Ciere is throwing herself away with little thought, but I promise there is deeper reason than such a shallow thing as just Ciere looking for something to fill an emotional void. Honest, we had discussions about this and everything. Whether you actually ever find out what the real verdict is however depends upon how later arcs turn out.

I mean, what's more important, Ciere's soul, or Kirin winning the race before the mysterious racer can cross the finish line?

Oops, my bad. I wasn't supposed to talk about that, was I?

I just got back from "Mistle Toe Jam". It rocked pretty fucking hardcore. The following is my impressions of the following bands (all of which I honestly knew very little of besides radio hits before I came to the concert)

Living Things - Fucking sucked. Pasty ass white boy, keep your shirt on. NEXT!

Rehab - Pretty damned awesome. Sort of southern rock meets metal meets southern rap. Overall, very...southern. Has a definite GIT R DONE attitude. Including belching on mic and laughing about it, and full on freestyling. They're good at changing up their flavor and making each song unique, even if the lyrics can be rather basic. Good times.

Coheed and Cambria - Fuck man, I honestly knew next to nothing about Coheed before today. I heard a few songs, thought they were decent, sounded a bit much like Rush for my tastes. They fucking rocked out hardcore. I was pretty close to the speakers when they played, and I could literally feel my entire body vibrating. They did a 15 minute bridge with full on over the head guitar playing and Peter Frampton Comes Alive shit. Definitely on my watch list from now on.

Our Lady Peace - Classic band, very classy, they have a real presence. They treat the stage like they own it. The crowd was definitely into it. Not as good as Coheed and Rehab, but still cool.

As well, I made it out with...I would say roughly $120 bucks of stuff, pretty much for free. The tickets were won over the radio, I got a free gift card from Best Buy, as well as a Geek Squad t-shirt. As well the two albums that would normally cost like $30 at least were only $15 grand total.

I think karma decided to pay me off. Sorry for rubbing it in, I feel too good right now not to spread the word that I had a good day.
