Posted on Friday 10Mar06, at 1:48 am.   Do you know we've now spent 92 comics to get to a character we planned on introducing in like comic seven? He was supposed to meet Tristain while he was floating around in space. And, despite all this, when Kyle uploaded today's comic, this was the FIRST time I've ever actually seen this character? He's never given me a sketch or anything. But, this whole time, WE KNEW. It's good to finally get this out of our system. When you have a team of bounty hunters, you HAVE to have a rival team. This is the Geminus. Next, we meet the crew! I bet you want to know about Cail. I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seat, wondering who this guy is. Let me tell you! For one, the name smudged over is Christoph Aidrean Lancaster "Cail". It's smudged over because this name is fucking long. All you have to know is everyone refers to him as Cail. I doubt you'll ever actually see his full name. He's the son of Sartana. Sartana is the most well known and well respected bounty hunter to ever travel the cosmos. He never fails, and his exploits have spawned several major motion pictures. Because of how well off Sartana was, Cail always had everything he wanted. Sartana could not be prouder than when his son said he wanted to be a bounty hunter. Now, it surprised him a little when, at the age of 8, his son actually BECAME a bounty hunter. Cail's mother still has not lived that one down yet. In his short time as a bounty hunter, Cail has gotten quite the reputation, even rivaling his father's. However, there has always been a thorn in his side. Namely, the Latis crew. Several bounties he was tracking have been swooped up by the Latis crew. The Latis crew has a tendency to fly in half-assedly and make it all up as they go, which sticks in Cail's side. Thusly began the rivalry between the Geminus and the Latis. It's sort of like two football teams with histories going up against each other. There's no honest hatred, but there is a certain need to one up the other guy. If only for bragging rights. Almost all of the central players to the story have been introduced. There's one more group, but we're waiting for when the time is right. That, and the way I've wanted Kyle to draw what has to happen to introduce them isn't coming off well. It's so nice when things fall into place! HAAAIIL CAIL! I beleive the episdode was actually titled "Cowboy Bebop" And, though the game is terrible, I remind you of FFX-2. Also, correct me if I am wrong, I do believe Arc the Lad 3 had a rival team of hunters. Boba Fett, for all I know, never had a rival. But then, he's fucking BOBA FETT. As for the armor, he's a 9 year old who's in what is known as the most dangerous profession. This often calls for feats of daring do that go above and beyond the abilities of a 9 year old. He's also fucking rich and is capable of building things Tristain would call "pretty good." You'll find out more about his pinache for building shit later.
