Today's comic is a very Kyle comic. Yes, go ahead, get it translated if you must. I have honestly never written a single comic with this character in it, yet he has somehow become a recurring character with important plot points.
Do I actually write this comic anymore?
Watching Kung-Fu Hustle over the weekend. My faith in the ability of good movies has come back to me, as this was definitely a wonderful movie. It was funny without being over the top, and held well to the genre with only rare breaks from the genre. I honestly loved this movie, and can't wait to see more of it.
There seems to be a popularity, lately, of these blog-esque things that aren't really blogs where people can kind of keep track of what their friends are up to. They always felt sort of...hollow to me.
For instance, myspace. I don't have a myspace, I don't want a myspace, but every fucking one of my friends has one, and I don't know why. As well, I do not know whose bright idea it was to put music on these things, and backgrounds that are impossible to read, but please fucking stop it. It sucks balls. You make me have to turn off my speakers. You make me have to highlight all your text. And for what? "I totally hate bees." Fuck you, if that is the only entry you can make in three months, your page is pointless.
I don't know what happened to the concepts of CONTENT and MEANING, but whatever.
I did, however, give in on one point. I made a facebook. It's there, that's all that matters. If you want to find me there, I am not going to stop you. Though, it is cool that I got to see a bunch of pictures of old friends that I went to high school with roughly forever ago. I don't entirely know why I need it, anyone I really want to talk with, I have their phone numbers, I can call them anytime I want. So, what I'm trying to say here is, I got really fucking bored and gave in to peer pressure.

Either you've used some really unknown kanji, or you've turned SETSU from a 4-stroke kanji to a 5-stroke kanji in kitte.
So, either you've used a kanji not in the dictionary, or those two lines on the right should be connected.

Whatever fuckups on the comic's part is totally not me, mostly. I've had this idea for a good several weeks and ran it by at least three other people who had a fairly fluent understanding of the language, and they gave it an okay.
Fuckups as far as how they're actually written can be blamed on the font of what I drew them from. In other words, stop bitching kthxuz. | |

Well, I would love to say this comic is as good as the rest, but unfortunately, I can't read kanji. Would someone mind translating for the rest of us? | |

It's:
"shimatta!!"
"tenka wo kitte wasurejattaa!"
Which translates to something like "Shit!! I forgot to cut the lightning!".
Now, I'm not too fluent in Japanese(just simple sentences), so I'm only guessing that "cut" is "cut off" and not "cut loose". | |

From priviliged information, I can say that you're 90 there, so I can only account it to crazy japanese multiple meanings that you didn't get it correct. However the public hasn't been cleared for the intended meaning yet. You'll have to ask Kyle.

He's just doing what we told him to do.
Incase nobody noticed, the entire point of the last comic is because we thought it was funny to us.

incase you scrolled all the way down here, there are currently some software issues on the backend. Apparently hostingplex had some FTP problems earlier, and currently we can't access our backend system. For some reason posting here and on the boards still seems to work so...know there is a new comic and a new rant, sitting here, waiting for you. I am looking at both of them right now. It's good stuff. | |
