It just now occurred to me, after looking at this, that we have just introduced a fuck ton of new characters to you. Not only to you, but new characters that I really have to start DEFINING now, rather than being abstract concepts and generalizations of things to write into the comic.

The one good thing is that Kyle's style lends well to a universe such as Sold Out, which promises to be FILLED with different characters. So, let's take a look at what we have now.

Yesterday we went over Cail, head of the Geminus. Let's look at his team. As well, to save time because I have OMG HOMEWORK that was waiting for me all spring break but I never felt like doing, I'm going to do myself a favor and just copy all of the information out of SOI (which I am so glad now that I did).

Daniel "Double" Portsmith - Geminus Machinist/Co-General
Race: Human Mystic (-)
Age: 25

Hair: Brown

Choice weapon: Explosives and incendiaries
Character traits: Cold, quick-witted, vain
Backstory: *not currently important enough to come up with*
Important information: Chain smoker, Taine's SO. Goes into homicidal rampages if angered.

Taine Engwell - Geminus Assassin/Co-General
Race: Human (-)
Age: 23
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 102 lbs
Hair: Dark blue
Eyes: Gold
Choice weapon: Hand-mounted blades (katars, cesti, nekodes, etc)
Character traits: Passionate, quick to anger
Backstory: *not currently important enough either*
Important information: Double's SO. Probably enjoys his job more than anything, ever, should.
Stolen from: Trowa (New Mobile Report Gundam W), Assassin/Assassin Cross (Ragnarok Online)

I'm kind of coming up on a brick wall however, as I am both running out of comics I pre-wrote, and I really haven't fleshed these new characters out as well as I would like. That's what happens when you spend 90 comics fleshing out one small set of characters and forget about all the other guys.

The good news is, these guys are mostly characters to support Cail, and since they're not so important, I only need to give them backstory if I want to!

Note to self: write entire arc entirely about the Geminus crew to flesh out characters. Cause major bodily harm while trying to fling together full backstory and hash together plotholes.

Fun fact: the entire point of Double and Taine was to mock Duo and Trowa slash fiction that at one point was so god damn prevelent on the internet.

Seeing as I never watched the show, read the fiction, or honestly even cared, that's part of why I left so much of the character creation of those two to Kyle. Stupid me.

...I'm still personally amused by the fact that he's fricking nine. Although, that does make the "Mom checking up on him" thing a good 10 times funnier. And I do believe I've finally posted under my own name.

Oh, and are Taine's fangs supposed to be extra noticable? Because they kinda ended up like that. Maybe it's just the "I'm a badass" thing.

Everybody sorta has those, for whatever reason; I kind of see it as a half-decent way to say "These are, uh, teeth. I guess." So far Meria's the only one that actually does have them, to a degree.
